Earth Day from Space – Saturday, April 21 at 12:30 pm

The Southworth Library takes Earth Day to new heights!

Join us on Saturday, April 21 as we celebrate great discoveries about planet earth from beyond earth orbit.

The day begins with Earth Yoga presented by Open Heart Kid’s Yoga at 12:30 pm.

The Cornell Spacecraft Planetary Imaging Facility has brought us images of planets taken by various spacecraft cruising through space.  At our celebration, they’ll turn the cameras toward home.  Come see the view.

Throughout, Ms. Diane has amazing space activities and stories that she gleaned from her NASA @ MyLibrary conference.  She’ll share them at different stations throughout the library.

Of course, there will be books to take home to continue discovering about planet earth.
