Could you or someone you know benefit from some basic computer skills instruction? If so, sign up for these classes, created by Digitalearn, to learn more! These classes are designed for people with little to no computer experience. This month there are two different types of opportunities – a class on cybersecurity and office hours where you can drop in to have your questions answered one-on-one. Call or visit the library to sign up – 607-844-4782.
Cybersecurity Basics – Keep yourself (and your data!) secure. Learn some tips and techniques for safer browsing.
November 7th from 11am-12pm
Office Hours – Get your questions answered one-on-one by our helpful staff! To prevent long waits, sign up in advance!
November 10th from 12am-4pm
The Southworth Library is among 160 public libraries selected for the ALA/PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T. We are excited to be hosting digital literacy training in our community to help close the “Digital Divide” in Dryden and neighboring communities.
