Dryden Holiday Celebration – December 4

Santa is coming to town! On Saturday, December 4th, Dryden will celebrate the season with our annual Tree Lighting on the Green and activities and programs all day long.

The Dryden Community Center Cafe folks invite you to pick up a photo scavenger hunt clue card  at the Southworth Library (starting Saturday, November 27th). Follow the clues, take pictures, and enter to win some exciting prizes from local businesses.

Then on Saturday, the fun begins all over town!

  • 9am-1pm Craft Fair at Dryden Agway
  • 10am-1pm Open House and Ornament Kits with the Dryden Historical Society at the Southworth Homestead
  • 12:30 – 1:30 Make your own favorite name ornament and enjoy some cider and donuts with the talktime folks at the library
  • 1pm Santa will be at the library to read some stories! Visit with him, hear some of his favorite stories, do a craft and have a snack! Free copies of The Gift Inside the Box by Adam Grant will be available for families, while supplies last.
  • 4:30-5:30pm Make s’mores with the Town of Dryden Recreation Department at Time Square
  • 5pm Live Nativity at the Presbyterian Church – Hear the Christmas story and sing a few carols together
  • 5:30pm Join with your friends and neighbors as Santa lights the tree on the Village Green
  • Santa will draw the winners of the Village Holiday Photo Scavenger Hunt after the tree lighting!
