Dryden Holiday Celebration- Snowman Scavenger Hunt- December 7!

Welcome to the 2024 Dryden Snowman Scavenger Hunt!

Find the number on the snowman posters with a riddle and its answer at 29 businesses and organizations in the Dryden Area for a chance to win merchandise and gift certificates. There will be haywagon rides to help you get to different parts of town from the Library, the parking lot behind the First National Bank and the Dryden Fire Station.

You can get a head start at Brewer’s Kitchen and Taproom and at Hopshire Farm Brewery, and check them off your list starting Wednesday, December 4.

The rest of the snowmen posters will be displayed on Saturday, December 7 from 9 – 5. Visit local businesses listed on your sheet, indicated by the Snowman Scavenger Hunt Spot signs, and copy the number on their posters for your hunt. For extra fun, there is a snowman riddle and answer too! Once you have found 10 snowmen, you can turn in your sheet at the Southworth Library and get a free snowman ornament and an entry into a drawing for some great merchandise and gift certificates from the businesses and local organizations. Every 5 after that is another entry and if you them all, you get 7 entries into the drawing.

All scavenger hunt sheets must be turned into the library by 4:30 on Saturday, December 7.  Santa will do the drawing for prizes after the tree is lit. You do not need to be present to win.
