Lunch N Learn @ the Library: West Africa on a Plate~ Wednesday, November 30 at noon

Let’s escape the winter chill with a virtual trip to the coast of West Africa! Library Assistant Stephanie Ortolano will share photos, fabrics, crafts, and food from Senegal. Sample the cuisine, with a plant-based twist, including peanut and tomato stew (mafe), okra and red palm oil soup (soupou kanja), sweet hibiscus tea (bissap) and black-eyed pea fritters (akara).
