Stories from the People of the Longhouse with Perry Ground – June 28 at 6pm

Stories from the People of the Longhouse with native Storyteller Perry Ground Tuesday, June 28 at 6 pm. This dynamic storyteller, a member of the Turtle Clan of the Onondaga Nation, will delight all ages with stories told in the traditional oral style. 

Stay afterwards for our Hidden Voices book discussion of  An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar Ortiz and The Gayogohono People in the Cayuga Lake Region by Kurt Jordan. A young person’s version of An Indigenous Peoples’ History as wella s the other books and materials are available at the library. Perry Ground will facilitate the discussion immediately following the storytelling.
