The Secret Wisdom of Nature

Join TC3 professor of Biology and Environmental Studies, Dr. Kelly Wessell, for our introductory discussion  in our new Adult Reading and Discussion Series “The Secret Wisdom of Nature and the Balance of Life.”   This first meeting will be based on the book by the same title by Peter Wolleben.

Nature is full of surprises! Deciduous trees affect the rotation of the Earth, cranes sabotage the production of Iberian ham, and coniferous forests can make it rain. But what are the processes that drive these incredible phenomena? And why do they matter?  This series will examine the various ways we all affect life around us.

Registration is recommended.  Books are available at the library.
