President’s Day Birthday Bash & Penny Pincher’s Party – Monday, Feb. 17 at 3:30pm
Come to the library on Monday, February 17 from 3:30 – 4:30pm to celebrate President’s Day with our birthday bash and learn about money while having fun!
- Play the Penny Pincher’s Party Game: Designed to introduce kids aged 5-12 to the world of budgeting and business with another exciting financial literacy game! As budding party planners, players dive into a $100 budget to create unforgettable celebrations. From choosing decorations to picking entertainment, they’ll discover the thrill of making smart financial choices. It’s an adventure that teaches valuable lessons in budgeting and the true meaning of fun! Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.
- Other activities include the Flip that Coin challenge, President’s Day Bingo and the Duck for President Dice game
- Take home a birthday party kit including a cake mix, frosting and party favors
- Some preschool activities will also be provided.
