October Storytimes – Fridays at 10am

Join Ms. Stephanie and friends every Friday at 10:00 a.m. for Preschool Storytime, a healthy snack, and a themed craft. Each week, we have a free book for all families, while supplies last, with thanks to the Rosen Library Fund grant from the Community Foundation of Tompkins County. Here’s what we have lined up for September:

• October 3 – Alone & Together – The take home book will be Alone Sometimes by Skylaar Amann.
• October 10 – Fire Safety –  In recognition of Fire Safety Week, we’ll be reading about   Our giveaway book will be A Mother Goose to the Rescue by Stephanie Gwyn Brown.
• October 17 – Cozy Bears –  As the weather starts to cool down, we’re going to get all snuggly like those bears getting ready to hibernate. Our giveaway book will be Don Freeman’s classic Corduroy.
• October 24  – Pumpkins – We are going to paint some pumpkins and learn about how they grow this week. Our giveaway book will be Pumpkin Circle by George Levenson.
• October 31  – Halloween – Come in costume to this spooky storytime! We’ll read some stories and sing songs about this fun holiday. Our giveaway book is sure to become a favorite in your house as you navigate things that go bump in the night with Annelouise Mahoney’s Julius and Macy: A Very Brave Night.
