Mondays are Marvelous at Southworth Library this summer!

  • Beginning July 6th stop in to pick up a FREE copy of the book* Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne (one per family)
  • July 13th at 1:30pm explore different musical instruments at an instrument Zoo with Miss Allison
  • July 20th at 1:30pm creative kids (ages 6-12) can join awesome artist Molly Reagan in an Art workshop, generously funded by Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund.  Please register here.
  • July 27th at 1:30pm kids are welcome to do some Yoga and hear some silly stories with Miss Danny.  Free copies of the book* Hello, Sun! by Sarah Jane Hinder will be available while supplies last.
  • August 3rd at 1:30pm everyone is welcome to come watch the 2008 movie* Journey to the Center of the Earth (rated PG) at the library with free popcorn!
  • August 10th Adults are invited to relax with Miss Allison during a Sound Bath.  Folks lie down or get comfy in a chair and listen to soothing sounds to help you relax and clear your mind.*This program is generously funded by the Community Foundation of Tompkins County through the Rosen Fund.
