Join CCE Tompkins Community Energy Advisor Leigh Miller for a workshop at the Southworth Library in Dryden that will demystify the charges on your electricity bill and share ways to reduce your energy costs. Have your recent electricity bills handy to refer to during the workshop.
Topics covered include:
- Reasons for higher electric bills
- Energy cost savings measures including:
- Energy Assistance Credits
- Subscription Solar (yielding savings of 5-20% on electricity bills)
- Home Energy Assessments
- Incentives for home weatherization and heating system upgrades

Silent Book Club: The Rom-Commers

Have you heard about the new trendy reading groups where people gather to read silently? We’ll meet after hours at the library, spend some time getting snacks, and grab a book from our pile to keep. Then find a cozy seat and read in a room with other readers, no conversation required!
You can pick up a free copy of The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center or you can bring your own book to read.
This book group book is appropriate for ages 16+. Light refreshments will be served.
No registration is necessary.
