Southworth Events – ALL

Bring the kids to get their toes tapping and their bodies moving with stories and songs with Miss Angie! No registration necessary; fun for the whole family!

Made possible in full with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Community Arts Partnership. 

Listen to crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and drums that invite your mind and body to relax and unwind.  Folks are welcome to sit comfortably or lie down.  Please bring your own yoga mat, pillows, or anything else you might need to get cozy for the hour.  Open to all ages and led by Bonny Georgia Renner.

Is your favorite getaway the forest?  The beach?  Traveling to exotic places?  This month we're picking our own books about vacations, then come to Hopshire Farm & Brewery to chat about your recent read.  We'll have a display at the library.  Bring a snack to share if you would like.

A family friendly fun program about fossils and rocks with the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI).  A FREE copy of The Street Beneath My Feet by Charlotte Guillian, which has an amazing 8 foot fold out of underground scenes will be given while supplies last.

Have you heard about the new trendy reading groups where people gather to read silently? We’ll meet after hours at the library, spend some time getting snacks, and grab a book from our pile to keep. Then find a cozy seat and read in a room with other readers, no conversation required!

You can pick up a free copy of Speak to Me of Home by Jeanine Cummins or you can bring your own book to read.

This book group book is appropriate for ages 16+. Light refreshments will be served.
