Join Carol Hockett, outreach educator from the Cornell University Johnson Museum of Art for an exploration into medieval art, cathedrals, sculpture, stained glass and manuscripts! The workshop will also include a hands-on portion as well to allow participants to make their own initials as a medieval art piece.

Discussing what you've read with other intelligent folks can challenge your understanding, and help you make new connections that you may not have thought about before.  Join the Jennie's Book Club gang on Tuesday, September 17 at 10 am at the library to discuss The Royal Correspondent  by Alexandra Joel.  Books are available at the library.

The Dryden Middle School Book Club will start again on Tuesday, September 17 during activity period. We'll be reading The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Books are available at the library or from Ms. Munson and Ms. Griffith.

We are going back to the 70's in our reading through the decades.

Read a book set or written in the 70's to share.  All are welcome! Bring a snack to share, if you'd like.

We'll  meet at Hopshire Farm & Brewery.

Teen Takeover will be kicking off the new school year with an evening of collage vision boards! Guests from the Johnson Museum of Art will be joining us as we use different materials to create a visual representation of our goals and dreams for the coming year. We'll be cutting and pasting and creating together! And, of course, there will be pizza and snacks to fuel us in our creativity!

Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome. Bring a friend!

Join Kim Maercklein from NYS Division of Consumer Protection to learn about the latest scams effecting New Yorkers. You will also learn how to recognize a scam, what to do if you become caught up in a scam, and how to avoid them all together.
