Lunch & Learn- A Holistic Approach to Solving the Climate Crisis-January 15 at noon
On Wednesday, January 15, we welcome Stephen Penningroth to the Southworth Library for a discussion of a holistic approach to solving the climate crisis. Learn how solar geoengineering, if shown to be safe, might help the climate crisis by temporarily reflecting a small portion of sunlight back into space. With a look at a combination of emissions reduction, CO2 removal, and sunlight reflection, this talk will provide information about new ideas for addressing global warming and restoring a healthy climate. Join us for this great opportunity to learn about diverse approaches to tackling one of the most pressing global challenges.
Light refreshments served. Bag lunches are welcome.
