Thinking Money: Game Time for Kids! Tuesday, November 11 at 3:30pm

Join us for Making Moo-lah, a life-sized game about making money while running a working farm. This program is happening on Tuesday, November 11th starting at 3:30pm.

Welcome to the farm! In this collaborative simulation, players work together to see if they can run a financially successful farm. Players take turns rolling the die and moving their bodies through a life-size game board. Depending on where they land, they might buy something for the farm, sell their crops at the farmers’ market, pay taxes, or face an unexpected event. Starting with $200 in their bank account, can the team turn a profit in 12 months?

This program is recommended for kids ages 5-12. Play is by teams and there is movement, addition/subtraction, and collaboration.

Registration is required

Everyone will receive a free set of books, while supplies last.

This program is generously funded by a grant from the ALA and will be run by Southworth Library and AcKNOWLEDGEhim Farm & Learning Center.
