Jennie’s Book Club: The Greatest Sentence Ever Written – Tuesday, July 21st @ 10am

This month we’ll be reading The Greatest Sentence Ever Written by Walter Isaacson.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we’ll discuss this deep dive into one of history’s most powerful sentences: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Copies of the book will be available at Southworth Library.  We’ll be meeting at Dryden Lake Park and light refreshments will be served.
