Mini-Masterpieces Kids’ Art Club: Mondays July 7th – August 11th at 12:30 p.m. with Ms. Corbett
Explore your inner artist each week with Ms. Corbett. Learn about different famous artists, then try your hand at a variety of fun art projects inspired by the artists that you learn about! Supplies are provided and each participant will receive a copy of Mini Masterpieces: Exploring Art History with Hands-On Projects for Kids thanks to generous funding from Rosen Library Fund from the Community Foundation of Tompkins County.
July 7th: Marble painting inspired by Jackson Pollock.
July 14th: Make air dried clay pumpkins inspired by Yayoi Kusama.
July 21st: Explore a stained glass craft inspired by Marc Chagall.
July 28th: Create beautiful zinnias inspired by Clementine Hunter.
August 4th: Play with paint and pastels to create abstract art inspired by Wassily Kandinsky.
August 11th: Cut out and paint shadow puppets inspired by Kenojuak Ashevak.
