Teen Reader’s Cafe: July 11th, July 25th & August 8th at 3:30 pm
Join Jess every other week starting July 11th from 3:30-4:30pm for our twist on a silent book club. Each week we will meet, chat briefly about what you’re reading, grab a book, then find a cozy spot to read.
Each time we meet we will have a different free book that you are welcome to take home:
July 11th- Dark & Shallow Lies by Ginny Myers Sain is a chilling supernatural thriller about “a teen girl that disappears from her small town deep in the bayou, where magic festers beneath the surface.”
July 25th- Ballad & Dagger by Daniel Jose Older is an urban fantasy about two teens, each fighting for their own diaspora, and the myths, powers, and ghosts that weave their way into their lives.
August 8th- Kind Of A Big Deal by Shannon Hale is a comedy about a girl who thinks she peaked in high school, and then finds herself able to escape reality into the books she’s been reading.
This club is for teens in grades 6-12. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required, so register here, today!
