Wednesday Wildlife at Montgomery Park on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30 July 9 – August 13

Stop by Montgomery Park each Wednesday for stories, crafts, and to meet some amazing animals. Each family will also be provided with a free book, while supplies last, thanks to generous funding from DYOF and FLLs Family Literacy Grant. 

July 9th- Bunny Foo-Foos; Hop on down to the park to see these furry friends and their acrobatics, then take home a copy of Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit by Lorna Scobie (Reminder: no Famer’s Market or lunch this week)

July 16th- Cheeky Chickens and Lovely Lambs; This week you get the awesome chance to meet two types of animals, chickens and sheep! Stop by, say hi, and choose between Gladys the Magic Chicken by Adam Rubin or Sleepy Sheepy by Lucy Ruth Cummins

July 23rd- Paws to Read; Stop in to see our favorite furry friends from Cornell Animal Companions. Theses dogs love being read too, so feel free to read the free book this week to them: The Imposter by Kelly Collier.

July 30th- Agility Dogs; Dogs are back this week, but this time they are here to show off. Watch their amazing abilities then take home The Wonder Dogs by Linda Ashman

August 6th- Turtles & Terrapins; Come out of your shell to meet these interesting reptiles this week and pick up The Town of Turtle by Michelle Cuevas

August 13th- Cool Cows; Before we moo-ve on to a new school year, chill out with some cool cows, then grab a copy of Color Farm by Lois Ehlert

Don’t forget to explore the Kid’s Farmers Market at noon on Wednesdays July 16th – August 13th.
