Lunchtime Learning: Guthrie’s MOM Unit & NYS Cancer Services on Wed., Sept. 10 at Noon

Lunchtime Learning is back in session. Join Guthrie’s Maternity Oasis Mobile Unit and the NYS Cancer Services Program at our library on Wednesday, September 10th at Noon to learn about the services each program provides to our community. Presentations will cover what services each program offers, where services are provided, why you should choose these services, and how to access these services.

Guthrie’s Maternity Oasis Mobile Unit, or MOM Unit, aims to offer quality and efficient care brought directly to you without cost barriers. They offer a variety of care including, but not limited to, pre-natal care, post-partum guidance, limited GYN services, and social work.

New York State’s Cancer Services Program, or CSP, provides breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening services at no cost to those that qualify.  CSP also offers follow up testing for abnormal results, help with treatment, and support services.
